Bado’s: Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere

If you’ve never been to Bado’s Pizza Grill and Ale House in Mt Lebanon, Saturday, June 28th would be a great day to check it out during the Boardwalk on Beverly event 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

CBS Pittsburgh lauds Bado’s as one of the best summertime bars in the city thanks to the deck and live music. You know what else is really good there? The pizza. Also their “famous” Reuben sandwich, which comes in two sizes. The overstuffed Reuben and the Baby Reuben, which is actually the regular sized sandwich. Plus, the drink selection is more than impressive. It is an Ale House, after all.

Bado's is a great place for food and drinks.
If you’re a Reuben connoisseur you owe yourself a visit to Bado’s.

This eatery isn’t just all about the evening fare, either. According to our Resident Foodie, Chi Quach (assistant property manager of Alvern Gardens Apartments), “Bado’s has the best breakfast in Pittsburgh.”

Great food at all hours of the day, huge drink selection, what more could you ask for? How about a homey atmosphere? If you like feeling welcomed the moment you walk into a restaurant, Bado’s is the place for you. The wait staff is genial, and the whole place just feels warm and inviting. In fact, the restaurant is located on a lovely little stretch of Beverly Road where there are several restaurants and shops, including the ice cream place Scoops on Beverly and Cafe io of grilled cheese fame.

So if you’re up for trying something new that will feel cozy and familiar, check out Bado’s during Boardwalk on Beverly, or any other time.

Several Prudential Realty communities are located in the South Hills within a short drive of the Shops on Beverly: Cornell Place, Alvern Gardens Apartments, and Place Seville to name a few. If you’re interested in any of these properties, contact Prudential Realty Company.
