PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Starting next week, ConnectCard users will be able to reload their cards online.

The Port Authority is launching a new website April 16 so that riders can check the value of their cards, load and reload fares. You can also set up auto-reload and buy new passes on the website.

“This is another tremendous enhancement for transit riders in Allegheny County, making it even easier to load passes and value on the ConnectCard,” said Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald in a statement. “We are focusing on making our transit system as simple and accessible as possible and this is another significant step in that direction.”

You can buy a ConnectCard at most Giant Eagle stores or a ConnectCard vending machine.
